Micheala Moores

Michaela is a visitor operations manager with approaching 15 years of experience ensuring the right people are in the right place at the right time. Roles in heritage retail, theatre and museums have shown that making art accessible means creating shared memories where everyone’s opinion matters, regardless of background or experience. Michaela has worked on a range of projects to increase access for disabled audiences and employees such as English National Opera’s first relaxed performance, co-chairing Tate Gallery’s disAbility network, and collaborating with Mencap on supported internships at the Shaftesbury Theatre. Michaela came to dance later in life, seeing her first ballet at 28, and is passionate about expanding access to those of all ages, something she looks forward to supporting Magpie in continuing.
