Chair of Beckenham Rotary Club presents Magpie Dance with a cheque for a £500 donation.
Nick Randall, the Chair of the charity committee, Beckenham Rotary Club and Michele Odell from the club, presented the cheque to Magpie facilitator Erica Moshman and Magpie’s Adult Choreographers in their session yesterday.
Donations like this are unrestricted funds. They help us to continue to deliver our programme of work to children, young people and adults with learning disabilities. Laura Graham, General Manager at Magpie Dance, said: “Michele visited our youth sessions at the beginning of the term, and as a dance enthusiast herself, was very impressed with our work and wanted to support us. It was wonderful to meet Nick today and we’d like to thank everyone at Beckenham Rotary Club for their support.”
Meeting the Magpie dancers yesterday, Nick Randall, the Chair of the charity committee of Beckenham Rotary Club, said: “This is some of the money that we raised last Christmas to support local charities. We are pleased to have found Magpie Dance and to be able to support them as a local charity that gives so much to our community.”
