Leaving a gift in your will to Magpie Dance

Writing a will is one of the most important things you’ll do; ensuring that your loved ones are cared for and your final wishes respected.

If Magpie Dance has played a special part in your life, or in the lives of your loved ones, you may wish to consider leaving a gift to us in your will.

We recommend speaking to a qualified solicitor to either write your will, or to amend an existing one.

Recognising Magpie Dance is easy, please make sure to let your solicitor know to include “Magpie Dance, registered charity number 1062185” ensuring your wishes are fulfilled. A gift to us may be a fixed amount (a pecuniary gift) or a percentage of your estate once all other gifts are covered (a residuary gift).

If you would like to discuss leaving a gift in your will to Magpie Dance, or if you would like to let us know that you intend to leave a gift, please contact David Ward, our Fundraising and Development Manager.

Thank you very much for considering leaving your legacy with Magpie Dance, and helping us to keep the world of dance alive for learning disabled people long into the future.

My brother has been a member of Magpie Dance for years. It has helped him to thrive as an artistic, fit and confident individual. Magpie has been a huge part of my brother's life and I hope that it can continue to bring joy to many more individuals and their families.
