Magpie Dance welcome new Co-Chairs of the Board and announce a new office space

Posted on: 21/10/2021

We are delighted to announce the appointment of our new Co-Chairs, Caroline Schreiber and Emma Jones, of the Board of Trustees at Magpie Dance.

Caroline is Director of Communications at The Place, London’s creative powerhouse for dance development, leading the way in dance training, creation and performance. Caroline commented:

“I am continuously inspired by Magpie Dance’s steadfast commitment to provide opportunities for people with learning disabilities to access high quality dance and explore their voices and creativity. I am humbled and excited to have been appointed Co-Chair and look forward to co-lead the Board and support the extraordinary Magpie Dance team as we look to the organisation’s next ambitious and important future.”

Emma is a senior leader at PwC, specialising in Strategy Consulting. Emma commented:

“I’m thrilled to have been appointed as co-chair. I’m hugely passionate about the work and ethos of Magpie. I’m excited to be working with an exceptional team, to continue to expand the incredible impact of Magpie Dance”

We are confident that with their combined skills, Caroline and Emma will help steer Magpie Dance successfully forwards with our busy programme of work, benefiting hundreds of children, young people and adults with leaning disabilities – and we are excited to welcome them on board.

As we welcome Caroline and Emma, we also welcome a new relationship with Bromley Central Library as our offices have moved there from the theatre – so same building (contact details remain the same) but next door! We look forward to settling into our new home and thank the library for welcoming us. Please note our classes remain in their usual venues.
